P4 and M3: My Finished Website with Working Hyperlinks and a Navigation Menu

                   P4- My Finished Website

I have finished creating my website using the Wix website builder. You can see my website using the hyperlink below. I decided to use bright colours to make sure my website is memorable and I created my own logo for the website.

                                         Home | Faith's Portfolio (faithholly6.wixsite.com)

This is my home page. I have included two types of galleries on my website, this is a sliding gallery. The users can interact with this by clicking the arrows to move the images and videos along. They can also click the assets to bring them to full size and they also link to the corresponding portfolio page.

This is the about me section on my home page. This contains information about me. I included my qualifications, showed my passion for media, explained that I am looking for a job in the industry and also included information about my interests to make the website feel more personal.

This is the Contact page. I have added a contact form for the users so they can write a message or question to me. This ensures my website is interactive and meets the needs of the users.

Here is my Gallery website page. I have embedded videos in my galleries and I have also embedded these videos on some project pages. I have also embedded my project images.

Here you can see the different pages for each specific topic. For the title of each page, I have used the same font as I used in the project. This makes each page unique. I have explained each project and my ideas around them in the paragraphs.

I have integrated a blog into my website. This will help me cater to my target audience of professional media businesses and upcoming media students.

Here you can see my website is optimised for phones and other similar devices. My website has a rollover menu. On laptops/computers, when the user rolls the mouse over the menu options, they are underlined. I have also included a drop down menu to show all of my project website pages. On smartphones, you can click the hamburger menu to open up the navigation menu of my website. The page you are currently on is orange and the drop down menu items from the gallery option is blue to differentiate the options.

M3- Menu System and Hyperlinks Work on my Website

As you can see in the screen recordings above, all my hyperlinks work on my website and so does my menu system. The UI design is easy to comprehend and it is very simple to use. Not only do I have a navigation menu with working hyperlinks, my footer also includes hyperlinks to the different pages of my site. The users can interact with the galleries, contect form, blog etc. When the user clicks my logo, they will be taken back to the home page. The YouTube icon takes the users to my personal YouTube channel where I will post my work. The get in touch button on my home page directs the user to my Contact Me page. The gallery on my home page and the media on my gallery page includes hyperlinks the the corresponding pages of each project when the work is clicked.
