Friendly for visually impaired

Accessibility

I will be able to see alt image text so that those who are visually impaired can hear the text using their text to speech tool.

I realised that I have not added image alt text to my images which means my website isn’t entirely accessible.

As you can see below, I have added alt text to my images so my website is finally accessible.

Navigation bar

Usability and functionality

I expect that all the links and rollover effect (text is underlined) work. My navigation links should link to other web pages on my website.

I have received feedback from my peers and they both agree that my navigation bar is usable and functioning correctly. The drop-down menu is good and so are the hyperlinks.

N/A

Links work for buttons etc.

Functionality

The contact button when clicked will hopefully redirect the users to the contact page. The YouTube button should direct users to my own YouTube page.

I have received feedback from my peers and they both agree that all the links and buttons work on my website.

Videos and audio plays correctly

 Functionality

The videos that I embedded on my website should play when clicked on. The audio should play with the video unless they mute it or turn the sound off the video.

I have received feedback from my peers and they both say that the video and audio plays correctly.

N/A

Animations work

 Functionality

The title and vertical text have a slide in animation. The vertical text only slides in once but most of the titles slide in. Bounce in animation was used for my name on the home screen.

I have checked that my animations work.

Navigation

 Usability

If the users can navigate my website easily using the navigation bar, footer and buttons.

I have received feedback from my peers and they both agree that they can easily navigate around my website.

N/A

Here is the feedback I was given to evidence the usability and functionality of my website.

Text readability and errors

Readability

The text reads perfectly and there are no spelling mistakes.

I did have a few spelling and grammar mistakes so I am going to correct these using Grammarly.

 See below

Since I am the client and I am happy with my website, I am going to ask potential users what they think of my website. I asked Ren and Liam from my media class to complete the feedback form and I will act on the feedback I recieve from the form and the emails.
